Who Runs the World? Celebrate Your Money Moves with a Rosemary Bourbon Bliss
Gone are the days of bourbon being a “man’s drink.” More women are enjoying this timeless and complex brown spirit. This Rosemary Bourbon Bliss complements the lifestyle of the modern career woman. A citrus-floral profile, balanced against the richness of the bourbon itself. If you’re looking for a cocktail to sip while planning the money moves you want to make, look no further.
To prepare this cocktail, you’ll need the following ingredients:
1/2 oz Rosemary Syrup
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 oz St. Germain
1 3/4 oz Bourbon
2 Fresh Rosemary Sprigs
1 Tbs. Honey or Syrup
How to Make A Rosemary Syrup?
2 Fresh Rosemary Sprigs, Cleaned
1/4 Cup Water
1/3 Cup Sugar, of your choice
Place the rosemary sprigs and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat. Strain the rosemary from the water. Stir in sugar and let the syrup completely cool before using.
Making Your Garnish Game Strong
Prepare your lowball glass by rubbing honey down one side of your glass, about 1" wide, take one of the rosemary sprigs, and cut the leaves into small pieces. Place the cut sprigs on the honey until the honey is covered, set aside.
Into a shaker, add the rosemary syrup, lemon juice, St. Germain, bourbon & ice. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds, or until your shaker is cold. Add ice into the prepared glass and strain the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with the leftover rosemary sprig. Cheers!
